A survey of 1,200 iPhone owners commissioned by US firm AppsFire claims that the average owner has downloaded 65 apps for their device, spending around $80 in total. AppsFire does some sums, and calculates that the total paid iPhone app market so far equals $3.3 billion dollars: which would mean around $2.3 billion for developers, and $1 billion for Apple.
