LAHORE: Pakistan crushed hapless Bangladesh by 152 runs in the first day and night one-day international of a five-match series at the Gaddafi Stadium here on Tuesday evening. Chasing a revised victory target of 282 from 39 overs, the visitors were dismissed for paltry 129. The target, reduced under Duckworth-Lewis method due to floodlight failures, offered no respite as the Bangladesh innings folded up within 30 overs. The power failures stopped play for about 45 minutes. It was the second time in Pakistan’s cricket history when power failure halted the play in an ODI. A similar incident was happened way back in December 2006 during a one-dayer between Pakistan and West Indies.
